Take Back the Night is a national event that provides voice for survivors of domestic violence. "Take Back the Night" events illuminate the shroud of darkness surrounding victims, celebrate survivors’ healing and strength, and endeavor to abolish sexual violence for all." (www.takebackthenight.org). In the past, there have been TBTN events on colleges campuses throughout Chicago;, however, there is has been a void in regards to involving the entire Chicago community. We hope to foster conversation and support for domestic violence survivors all in the effort to raise awareness and end domestic violence.
