 Separation of Religion & State
NCJW believes that religious liberty and the separation of religion and state are constitutional principles that must be protected and preserved in order to maintain a democratic society. Breaching the wall of separation endangers our diverse society as a whole and places religious minority groups, including the Jewish community, in jeopardy. NCJW strongly opposes the expenditure of public monies to support private religious institutions or sanction religious discrimination in any form.
